    I couldn't put this book down. I read it in one and a half days... The story is about a character we really learn to like who is stalked by the most evil man imaginable. The book is a thriller, we never know what is coming at us next. The book is well written, the characters fully developed, and the storyline compelling. The main protagonists are joined by a motley cast of secondary characters including a crazy taxi driver; The Marines; a psychologist friend, a flamboyant fashionista; and a dozen of so horses each with it's very unique personality.

    When you have a nice heroine, the story is fun to read. When you add in a truly evil villain, you tend to worry about the heroine every time you put the book down. These two characters are so well developed in this story, you may find yourself not wanting to put the book down. There are themes here other than good and evil but they are expertly interwoven into the story so as not to distract but rather to give you a little pause from worry. Spoiler alert: good triumphs over evil but there are enough twists and turns to make you worry about it. Can't wait for Addie's next adventure.
